The development of McCall Kimball’s unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. If McCall is not listening to her collection of favorite artists, she is making her own music as a singer songwriter.
McCall’s first foray into the world of music began at age 3. From the day she first learned to play a guitar and carry a harmony, she knew she wanted to be a performer.
Born in Atlanta , it was here she developed her musical tastes and interests. It wasn’t long after picking up a guitar, which has had a profound influence on the direction of her musical journey, did her passion for music take off.
McCall is keen to point out that everything she listens to directs her musical development in some way. However, she would certainly include ZZ Ward, Arctic Monkeys, Ed Sheeran, Walk the Moon, and Colbie Caillat as amongst her biggest influences.
She released her first EP, “Can’t Keep Waiting” which combines traditional elements of folk and blues with a modern pop twist. The album has been tremendously successful and the feedback McCall received has been overwhelmingly positive.
